Competitions

Manage competition events from creation to completion. Track signups, costs, eligible teams, and attendance.

Creating a competition

  1. Go to Competitions in the sidebar
  2. Click Create Competition
  3. Set the name, date, location, and eligible teams
  4. Define costs: entry fees, travel, accommodation, uniforms
  5. Set signup dates and capacity per team

Competition lifecycle

  • Draft — Still being set up
  • Open for Signup — Parents can sign their athletes up
  • Signup Closed — No more signups accepted
  • In Progress — Competition day
  • Completed — Done

Costs and disbursements

Competition costs are typically disbursements — money you collect from parents to pay suppliers (venues, travel companies, organisers). This is tracked separately from your club revenue.
