Competitions
Manage competition events from creation to completion. Track signups, costs, eligible teams, and attendance.
Creating a competition
- Go to Competitions in the sidebar
- Click Create Competition
- Set the name, date, location, and eligible teams
- Define costs: entry fees, travel, accommodation, uniforms
- Set signup dates and capacity per team
Competition lifecycle
- Draft — Still being set up
- Open for Signup — Parents can sign their athletes up
- Signup Closed — No more signups accepted
- In Progress — Competition day
- Completed — Done
Costs and disbursements
Competition costs are typically disbursements — money you collect from parents to pay suppliers (venues, travel companies, organisers). This is tracked separately from your club revenue.
