Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website owners.
This Cookie Policy explains how Kolva Club (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our Service at kolva.club.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies (Always Active)
These cookies are necessary to sign you in and keep the Service secure, and cannot be disabled. On the live site the sign-in cookies have names that begin with __Secure- or __Host-, which browsers use to mark cookies that are only sent over HTTPS. The kolva_oauth_intent cookie is set by our own sign-up page and has no such prefix.

Analytics Cookie
We run our own page-view analytics. This cookie is set for every visitor to the Service, whether or not they are signed in:

Each time a page loads we record the page address, the page you came from, your browser type and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address. If you are signed in we also record your account and club. This is stored in our own database and is not sent to an advertising or analytics company. You can delete the cookie in your browser settings at any time.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies
Kolva Club does not use cookies for advertising or marketing, or to sell data to third parties.
3. Browser Storage
The Service also keeps a few things in your browser's local storage. These are not cookies and are not sent to us each time you load a page:
cookie_consent: remembers that you have dismissed the cookie noticekolva-onboarding: remembers your progress through the onboarding checklist- Interface settings and temporary data, such as inbox view choices, pinned menu items, and attendance marks that a coach has saved while offline until the connection returns
- Files cached by the installed app (PWA) so that it can open without a connection
You can clear these in your browser's site settings. Doing so will reset those choices.
4. Third-Party Services
Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies:
- Stripe: For payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy
- GoCardless: For UK Direct Debit payments. See GoCardless's Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare: Sits in front of our site, and provides Turnstile, the bot check on our sign-in, registration and public forms. Cloudflare may use cookies or browser storage for security and to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy
- Google: If you choose “Sign in with Google”, you are taken to Google's own pages. Some club websites also show a Google map. Google may set its own cookies on those pages. See Google's Privacy Policy
5. Managing Cookies
Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:
- Block all cookies
- Block third-party cookies only
- Delete cookies when you close your browser
- View and delete specific cookies

Impact of Disabling Cookies
If you disable essential cookies, some parts of the Service may not function properly:
- You may not be able to stay signed in
- Some security features may not work
6. Your Consent
When you first visit our Service, we show you a notice about our use of cookies. Clicking “Got it” only records, in your browser, that you have seen the notice. It does not turn any cookie on or off. The essential cookies above are needed to sign you in and keep the Service secure.
You can stop or remove cookies at any time by:
- Clearing your browser cookies
- Adjusting your browser settings
- Contacting us to request deletion
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will:
- Update the “Last updated” date at the top
- Show a notice on the Service
